With Coast Warriors you will get picked up from one of our central locations and driven out down to the Royal National Park. On the way we stop at a supermarket/bottleo so you can load up on breakfast, snacks for the road, drinks and any beach supplies you might have forgotten. We jump back in the bus and soon we reach the picturesque Wattamolla Beach, a locals secret gem in the middle of dense bushland that we have been hitting up from a young age. Wattamolla beach is best described as a slice of Australian paradise where the bush meets the beach. With 10m tall cliffs, relaxed lagoon to swim in and it’s beautiful, spacious main beach it truly can’t be missed. Between swimming in the lagoon, walking along the main beach and toasting in the sun you can have a whack at some beach cricket or beach soccer. At Wattamolla we cook up a quality Aussie BBQ and deliver it to you waterside like a team of uncouth, Australian beach battlers. Meanwhile you get to forget about your usual nutritionally baron two minute noodle diet and load up on roo, sausages, vegetables and slow roast yourselves well done on the sand.
After lunch we head do a walk to a nearby lookout for some amazing, elevated pictures of the coastline and possibly spot a distant whale or two (if we are lucky) at Providential Point Lookout. We will then progress onto Bald Hill Headland Reserve. Bald Hill Headland is Australia’s most famous para and hang gliding location in Australia and features some truly remarkably spectacular views overlooking Stanwell Park and the sea cliff bridge.
We swing past Bundeena final views of the Port Hacking, Cronulla coastline and distant views of Sydney city. Then is time to start our journey back to Sydney City through the winding roads and bushland.
Upon returning to Sydney we have the option for a free drink at a bar at the drop off location for a chance to chill out enjoy a free drink and free food.
Please bring a towel, closed shoes, drinking water, smiles and your camera!
Also, load up on sunscreen, no one wants to end up redder than Donald Trump’s pubes.
Additional Info:
The Royal National park is also the home of the Figure 8 pool, It is a naturally formed rock pool that is in a perfect figure 8 shape. We do not go there on our Royal National Park tour because the walk is 3.5 hour return hike of relentless enfeeblement and we are far too lazy. We are chilled travel not sweaty travel !!! 🙂
I’ve been on a lot of tours and this was by far the most enjoyable. Our guides, Trent & Niam were fun. I wasn’t able to complete the whole tour due to problems of my own but they were fantastic about it. ). Breathtaking views. Good times!
